The Bell House
The Captain Bell House is a historic 1876 Italianate-style Victorian home with fancy corbels, tall ceilings, original float glass windows, yellow pine plank floors, and curving original walnut stair and newel post. It is named after its more famous second owner - Captain George Bell (resided 1899 - 1925). Bell was one of many Great Lakes ship Captains who made Vermilion their home during the sailing ship era.
